2 week holiday overseas. Where?

Okay, so... Me and a mate are planning to do a 2 week holiday in a country which we cannot agree on hopefully next year June/July.

Basically, I would like some suggestions and why you suggest the place and my approximate costs. Will be staying in economy hotels (not hostels) and doing a lot of partying.

We're two, straight, single dudes in our mid/late 20s. Looking for an awesome party place that's also not your average run-of-the-mill destination, so no London, New York, Thailand etc.

We're lookng at approximately R30k per person excluding the flight. This can be slightly stretched.

The places I'm looking into are:

1. Reykjavik, Iceland - This was my first choice, except it seems costly. The nightlife looks awesome and it's a place I've always want to visit as it looks like an amazing place with a strange but welcoming culture.

2. Moscow and St Petersburg, Russia - A little less expensive initially, but also rather costly. And there's the serious problem of the language barrier.

3. Gothenburg, Sweden - Have very little info here, haven't done much research just yet.

Obviously first-hand experiences would be great! But if you have any info whatsoever, I would greatly appreciate it.

Cape Town..... Book into the Presidential Suite at the One & Only, will set you back about R52k per night for starters....

Joking... why not the east i.e. Singapore or Hong Kong?

Currencies (Hong Kong) on par with the Rand (Singapore more expensive), you need no visa, flights relatively cheap if you book in advance, accommodation very reasonable if you shop around a bit, public transport excellent and cheap, good nightlife if you know where to go, many many expats in both locations and language not a problem as English will get you anywhere especially in Singapore..... just a thought...

I won't lie, the night light in Phuket (Bangla road, just google it) and Bangkok (Suhkumvit road, khaosan road) is something beyond anything i have ever experienced. If i stayed there for longer than 1 week i would be die.
There is also the full moon party on koh phanag which you can go to if you time it right.

Iceland is VERY expensive! My folks went there (not to party, fair enough) but its worse than the UK in terms of prices.

My vote is Singapore. I've been there and its awesome. Transport is cheap, food is dirt cheap (S$2 to S$5 for a full meal, provided you eat at on the street shops and not 5star restaurants obviously). Accommodation can be a little pricey, but there are budget hotels which are perfectly ok. Some of the hottest chicks I've ever seen, and a great nightlife. Booze is quite expensive though.

Reykjavik - it's pretty close to my next trip, hear its incredible.
Mexico City + Cancun - madness, go over spring break.
Miami - madness over spring break.
Munich - Oktoberfest
Berlin - epic night life
Spain - again, mega night light with great stuff to do in the day.
Tokyo - insane all night parties, just language is tricky.

South America a little boring, nothing I would do in Africa except maybe Morocco. Europe is easy cos you lose no time on the way in and out, I hear Crotia, Latvia, Lithuania etc are cooking for partying.

If it was me I'd be heading to central america. You will have a blast there with 30k (spend the extra bit that you were willing to stretch on the flight). 30k is a weekend in Ibiza.
