If they play like they did against us in the first 25 minutes for 70 min against Manure they have a very good chance IMO. Whether they have the legs to do it is the question. They also don't have Flamini.

I can't see it. Fabregas is dead on his feet and Flamini is out. 4-1 to us.

So Pool win 3-1.

Gerrard is the worst diver in the game right now.

1st half vs Friedel - for me a yellow for diving
2nd half vs Samba - for me a yellow for diving.

Instead, he scores one goal and sets up another and is the "hero of the Kop" again. Sies.

the worst display of football from united, i cant believe how every one of them is playing. Arsenal are right on top of them. I dont think Lehmann touched the ball in the
1st 15 min. I say Giggs and Anderson on, Park & Scholes off.

park and Scholes should never start. Never. Tevez should always start. It's a simple as that.

Wes Brown is costing us again....Some really poor displays all round so far. Evra has looked good.

Why does no one but Ronaldo take our free kicks?? All his does is run up and boot it as hard as he can. Hargreaves, Rooney and even Scholes are better at set pieces than he is. He must score about 1 goal in 10 attempts. And he doesn't even get the other 9 on target!

2-1 *shooh*

I dont understand Ferguson, how the hell can he start with Park, he is absolutely terrible, Scholes was just as bad. I hope you can see how good Anderson really is. He plays his heart out and always keeps possesion.
I hope United dont slip up now...

Just to add quickly, Hargreaves corners are pathetic, he should give it to someone else to take.

next time listen to my predictions :p

Lucky Tevez did not start, the only good thing he did when he came on was take a good shot, the rest of the time he was running and sliding like a crazy man. Rooney just couldnt hold the ball. Damn im dissapointed the way we played today.

Tevez did more than Park and Scholes combined.

yay got it right with score 2 :)

personally i believe hargreaves anderson and tevez have to start end of story

you see catch u see running diving as nothing, i see it as giving the enemy kuk getting in their faces

tevez is like a terrier and so is anderson, very physical players

scholes honestly looks like he cannot keep up with the pace anymore

poor performance by united amazing performance by van der sar

not only did he stop arsenal scoring but he stop united scoring with 2 amazing saves

arsenal as usual cannot win if adebayor does not score which he cannot do

all he can do at the moment is score with his head

what happened to that adebayor of 2 months ago?

should bring back his old haircut :)

hargreaves free kick was just amazing

what did song do that was so wrong?

i think considering he is 21 thrown into the biggest game of his career he did very well

gilberto who is so experienced was shocking more so than song by a mile

still not sure what song did wrong

united scored via penalty galles should have got his hands out the way and a stupid free kick given away from gilberto all 20 times more experienced

why is ronaldo such a nerd?

more so is wenger's stupidity

he needed to win this game WTF was walcott doing on the bench?
surely u field your strongest team in a must win game and throw the dice something arsene wenger cannot do

wenger must go, one of the worst managers of the top 4

not only does he not spend money and bolster his squad he leaves one of the most talented footballers in england on the bench for 60 minutes

Congrats to United. :)

I think my blood pressure is a bit high after that game.

It's incredible how many chances Arsenal fail to put away. Regardless of a "weak" squad, injuries to Eduardo, Rosicky and co. they so often get in to goal scoring positions, dominate teams and yet fail to win games. It's been a really frustrating last couple of months. :(

Lol... considering the game was close and the final season scores are close, I don't see how you can stand on your horsie and say Wenger is that bad a manager.

As for Ronaldo, I guess you didn't see how he finished the game off on a low for an otherwise great United.... his little floppy act with a half a smile at the camera in the corner when he fell over again. What a little wuss. Seriously, I think that would be my downfall as a football manager... I wouldn't want the guy in the side until he learns to play like Tevez or Rooney... at least if he behaves like that so often, I would put him in his place... he adds the unwanted to the team's otherwise great image. Just my 5c worth.

The Song and Brown comment was lighthearted... they just both had some pretty dodgy moments.

Well, at least it wasn't easy for ManUSA at home, that did count for something as an Arsenal supporter.

Yeah, that blinder of a free kick was awesome. To be honest, I don't know why Jens was not up to it or at least half expecting it... both guys were there. He looked a little sheepish.

My rant about Arsenal would not be the manager.... I'm not a huge fan of Gallas as a captain. He's a little too critical of the players when they concede a goal IMO... it's not always the teams fault, sometimes you have to just say well done to the opposition and pick yourselves up. Same with Jens... he threw his hands up... apparently at the team... when he didn't take a single step at that free kick... that isn't great IMO - one of the reasons I was a seaman fan and not a schmeichel fan... (other than the obvious ;) )

Yeah, it has been tough, and they played well tonight, so it gets harder to take sometimes lol. But as they say, sometimes you make your own luck. I'm looking forward to next season, I hope the guys can lift their spirits and come back with the experience of this year. Arsenal need another great striker and maybe a taller defender or two.
