Yeah, it has been tough, and they played well tonight, so it gets harder to take sometimes lol. But as they say, sometimes you make your own luck. I'm looking forward to next season, I hope the guys can lift their spirits and come back with the experience of this year. Arsenal need another great striker and maybe a taller defender or two.

Yes. If AW does not spend some real cash on some quality squad players, then you are going to struggle to win anything again.

brad u dont see why arsene wenger is a bad manager?

i dunno hey i feel he buys cheap and does not play his strongest team when he needs to

why is wenger so great brad? what has wenger acheived at arsenal in the last 3 seasons?

nothing because he buys cheap players

brad next year if wenger does not bring in some big players will struggle to get into the top 5

you can be damn sure next season liverpool will be stronger than this season now with torres playing

tottenham will be right up there as well

so now your talking 4 teams that could be stronger than arsenal because i can assure you the minute the spurs manager can he will bring in players who will make spurs alot stronger

personally i think gallas is a big headed prick and needs to leave arsenal

you cannot have someone bringing your team down and placing blame

u lose as a team and win as a team

Lol... considering the game was close and the final season scores are close, I don't see how you can stand on your horsie and say Wenger is that bad a manager.

As for Ronaldo, I guess you didn't see how he finished the game off on a low for an otherwise great United.... his little floppy act with a half a smile at the camera in the corner when he fell over again. What a little wuss. Seriously, I think that would be my downfall as a football manager... I wouldn't want the guy in the side until he learns to play like Tevez or Rooney... at least if he behaves like that so often, I would put him in his place... he adds the unwanted to the team's otherwise great image. Just my 5c worth.

The Song and Brown comment was lighthearted... they just both had some pretty dodgy moments.

Well, at least it wasn't easy for ManUSA at home, that did count for something as an Arsenal supporter.

Yeah, that blinder of a free kick was awesome. To be honest, I don't know why Jens was not up to it or at least half expecting it... both guys were there. He looked a little sheepish.

My rant about Arsenal would not be the manager.... I'm not a huge fan of Gallas as a captain. He's a little too critical of the players when they concede a goal IMO... it's not always the teams fault, sometimes you have to just say well done to the opposition and pick yourselves up. Same with Jens... he threw his hands up... apparently at the team... when he didn't take a single step at that free kick... that isn't great IMO - one of the reasons I was a seaman fan and not a schmeichel fan... (other than the obvious ;) )

Firstly , i think Arsenal is a top side and even if they dont buy any more players, tonight proved they can compete next year at a high level. Tonight showed how dangerous they are, and especially big ups to Bendtner. Only RVP ( which someone here called legend, omg) was poor.

Your comment on Ronaldo is not even worth .05 cents. I suggest concentrating on your own team because I like what Ronaldo does, and so does Ferguson. I hope he continues what he does.

I can name a handful of Arsenal players that are far worse than Ronaldo in that regard.

Not once in this game did he dive. The Arsenal players on the other hand....

LOL maybe because he was nowhere in the game. Another major Prem game and no Ronaldo to be seen. Unless of course it's put on a pedestal in the form of penalty. At least he doubled his tally of goals against the top teams. The same as new boy Torres.

Was very impressed with Arsenal had showed great fight and deserved to win.

I must say Arsenal did a good job of marking him tightly. That coupled with the fact that our formation was all wrong until Tevez was on meant that he was starved of decent ball.

When Tevez was on, he got some decent ball, and looked much more threatening.

I dunno. When the game opened up he got space but still didn't do anything with it. Showed a lot of bottle for the pen especially having to take it a second time.

I thought it was illegal to stop on a run up to take a pen?

It is. I haaate it. I used to play keeper. It is impossible to save a pen if someone stops during the run-up. I have mentioned it previously. That is why I thought the first kick was retaken but then he did exactly the same thing the 2nd time around so now I am not so sure :(
