Hell I get what you are saying but I think the mans a tank in the midfield or the back and deserved a mention I mean vs UTD he was brilliant.

Just my opinion rate him higher than some of the other names mentioned regardless of the color of his shirt.

Yup, Essien is a class player, havent really been watching Chelsea this season tho, the UTD game aside has he been consistent the whole season?

For a large part of the season yeah - some OGs made me get pissed off :P but hes still class.

Watched every Arsenal game and can only recall 1 game changing mistake by Clichy, and that was against Birmingham when he never cleared the ball, was forced into that pressure situation and gave away that soft penalty.. But alot went on in during that game and he can probably be forgiven for that mistake.. and perhaps no one shouted to him that he had a man on him... Other than that hes been brilliant..

Be funny if Grant wins the double in his first season :D

I want Chelsea to win it , I dont want Grant to do it, he aint a patch on the special one. Wanted him fired from day 1.

Can't argue with that really. Stevie G has done more than Fat Frank which is why he isn't there, and Essien has not been as consistent which is why he is no there.

Unsurprisingly only James and Young from outside the top four...

So what of JM didnt have 'free reign' as you put it. AG is doing a great job taking over. Not many managers can do that.

And how did RA screw up ? Chelsea are right up there with UTD :confused:
 
if anything AG has not had reign he has had to use the same players as JM

he is on top with united

possible champs league final

what JM really do? apart from buy the most expensive players and do nothing much with them

chelsea where doing really poorly before AG took over and turned it around

For one a 80 point season vs a 90 point one - defense is looking a shambles and we were forced to take on players like sidwell and haim who dont seem to be anything but fringe and free transfer. Grant has free reign and has yet to win anything - jose had free reign won the league twice, the carling cup / fa cup etc...

IIRC Jose signed Sidwell and Haim. Chelsea was way behind this season under Jose. Grant hasn't even had the time to build his own squad and is closer to the CL trophy than Jose ever was with his own team.

how can someone win a comp when the season is not even over?
so he went out the fa cup along with united liverpool and most of the big teams
he was in the final of carling cup(which is for the lower teams anyhow)

im amazed how well grant has done

i think will be in the champs league final and i have a sneaky feeling united are going to slip up

plz all you JM supporters are the same, what did JM do last season?

if grant did not come along i doubt chelsea would be where they are

Some fair points there. Considering how badly Chelski have played all season it still must be said that they could still win the Double as well :eek:
