Due to money - how can you not understand that - no champ league = no money from tv rights to repay loan = all classy players sold - how can you not get that - o leary leaving had nothing to do with relegation loss of their team to sales to cover the loan did that. - seriously man...

J

Dude!!! What do you think would have happened if O Leary stayed? Would Leeds be relegated now? I think not noob.

I think so since you seem to forget the full fact that - ALL OF THEIR DECENT PLAYERS GOT SOLD E.G BOYER/FERDINAND/WOODGATE - you cannot run a premier league team with 0 squad - ask Derby - J

I am with Jsheed on this one ... once the players got sold, Leeds were totally knocked down, evidently they have lost it all.

i dont agree with you about arsenal having having alot of talent which it may but i doubt it

Actually they got the best academy in England with some excellent potential, and most of them are English youth...

killa have you seen or read anything about the youth players to 'not agree'?

Agree 100% with you!
There are lots of stupid posts in these threads, good to see one that makes sense.

Alex Hleb's agent has finally gone public with his client's wish to leave Arsenal this summer.

The Belarusian, a close friend of the AC Milan-bound Mathieu Flamini, has repeatedly been linked with a move to Inter Milan amid claims that he has been offered a double-your-pay offer by the Italian club. Famously, after reports he had left Arsenal's hotel to meet with Inter representatives before their Champions League tie in Milan, his absence was explained as a search for an ice cream.

:(

The Professor remains adamant that Alexander Hleb will not be following Flamini to Milan to play for city rivals Inter, despite intense speculation suggesting otherwise.

He put it all down to the work of agent Nikolai Shpilevski, explaining: "I cannot spend my whole summer answering speculation. If a player is under contract, he is under contract: when he signs it, he knows what it means. All the rest is just speculation from agents.
Wenger says Hleb stays... So we wait :)

What do you think of Hleb? I hear mixed reviews from most Arsenal fans..

Hes great on the ball, and he connects play up pretty well.. He just needs to shoot more often, he has a great shot on him..
Maybe its a confidence thing...

Even if he does go though, you can count on Wenger finding a better replacement..

Indeed.

I had him in my fantasy team for a while but he never really got many points which I guess kinda sums up what is wrong with him, and to a certain extent Arsenal's season - a LOT of chances created but not enough turned into goals.

He's involved in alot of goals, but doesnt always get the final assist.. Anyway, hes better than Eboue :)

Chelsea boss Avram Grant has been named Barclays Manager of the Month for April, while Aston Villa winger Ashley Young has been named Player of the Month.

Well deserved i think ...

Grant deserved no issue. For Young, not too sure but then again you can't give it to the player of the year - would just seem to be too biased ;) - seriously, good for Young - great future England star under the reigns O'Neill.
