Somewhere along the line I read United will settle for £75million.

In the previous season CR played out and out as a winger scoring a hat full of goals.
In the new season Sir Alex who know how to exploit talent has employed CR as winger/striker causing havoc in defenses... 1/2 way through the season CR's tally is already 21... will he reach 40 by the end of the season? I wonder?

ferguson said that no amount of money will get ronaldo. the money is not what they want. ronaldo will get them trophies. that's all that matters.

DIARRA JOINS POMPEY...AND ALREADY WANTS TO LEAVE

Lassana Diarra will never be a diplomat. Whereas most players commemorate their unveiling at a new club with worn-out clichés of loyalty and ambition, the midfielder marked his first day at Portsmouth by issuing what amounted to a transfer request.

Apparently disregarding the fact that in the last six months he has successfully agitated his way out of Chelski and Arsenal, Diarra snubbed convention by putting pen to paper on a three-year deal on the south coast and then immediately declaring he was ready to leave.

"The people at Portsmouth know that I will not spend my life at the club," he confirmed. "I was able to add a clause to my contract. If I shine, if a really big club wants me, I already know that everything will go well. I don't want any more battles."

I'd be surprised if anyone wants him after this.

It's almost unbelievable.

Maybe there will be an official statement from Portsmouth soon. :)

so Fulham play Arsenal tomorrow. any chance that Fulham will get 3 points? they've had an awful season and are bound to get a few points somewhere along the line.

lol pretty confident hey :)

reading is a good team and we're playing away. it might not be as straightforward as we think

Reading are really up and down though. They lost 6-4 and 7-3 already this season to Spurs and Pompey so I am confident we will know where to find the net when we visit them tomorrow :)

Another hattrick for C-Ron?
One for say Vidic? (repaying Rio's favour)
One for Giggs?
One for Tevez?
Two for Rooney? .... oh I like dreaming.... 7-0

The Red Devils go! go! go! , Manchester United yah! yah! yah!

no doubt united will win

CR is not for sale no matter what offer comes. He is very happy at MU so i dont expect him to leave anytime soon. He did say he would like to play in Spain someday though.

I agree that without Rooney the team is quite unbalanced but that shows how weak the strike force is. IMO i dont think Tevez is all that ( proof on 2 occassion he missed [literally] open goals ). Saha is half the time injured so inconsistant.

Glory Man Utd !

I've been thinking.... wonder whether Brad will show up again if the Arses go down at Fulham today?...:D

Your logic is astounding... then again you support Man STD. As for showing up - I'm no fairweather supporter like some people in here ;)
