Hah my dad pretty much does he's a wolves supporter (grew up round the block from highbury but knew better - my dad is a north londoner :p) , grandad is spurs, well was, he passed away years back - but I have been Chelsea for about 14 years now and will remain so - I simply didnt like the teams in red when I was a kid and it stuck...

Yeah my dad does call me and takes the piss telling me what a ****ty manager we have and how he cant see us pulling the title, then I remind him where wolves are in the championship and put my old man back in his place :p

ladies, calm down :p

I think Taylor should have a mini-conference and make a public apology, with Eduardo present. He should emphasize that the tackle was mistimed and that there was no malice intent.
I'm saying this based on what I read. I haven't personally seen the tackle yet, so forgive me if I'm wrong.

My dad played at highbury for england school boys :) - till some Fsker broke both his ankles in one mistimed tackle - he has steel pins in em now , my old man used to play schoolboy with David Webb - says the fsker used to throw pepper in your eyes when going for a highball, hehe.

Yeah, that would be cool. He must feel pretty awful too though. I highly doubt he did it with the intention of injuring Eduardo, especially as it was so early in the game. :(

Indeed. One sane Gunner still out there then :)

Oh ok.. mines a Liverpool fan.. I dont phone him everytime Liverpool lose..
i'd use up all my airtime..

but anyway.. its been an emotional day for arsenal, wenger and the clubs fans..

so on that note sorry if i offended anyone but when you're more upset about a players injury than possibly losing 2 vital points in the league - you know it was a bad injury

going out now.. cheers

hopefully when i get back newcastle will be up 3 points

Crap, I mistook you for .geek! My sincere apologies :p:p :eek:

lol - what, they all look the same to you?
Yeah, Eduardo's injury really sucks - season and points aside, he's young and talented and now seriously injured... not good in anyone's books. Any opposition supporter who relishes this is a yah broer as far as im concerned. Well, living with injury and top players out has unfortunately been Arsenal's bane for a while, some would say it's surprising they're still at the top, I say they just play too well... but then I'm biased...
Its gonna be more of an uphill one from now though.

well the thing is brad most top clusb earning kuk loads of money try and have players who can take over should an injury crisis hit

arsenal dont have aback up and thats why they will not a single a comp this seasn

they must stop buying 600k players and turning them into 12m players and start spending some of that money if they wanna run at the top of any comp

Sure, but the season isn't over, is it, and they have a financial plan that's bigger than that right now, including no debt after new stadium which is quite a feat IMO.
More's nog n dag... volgende jaar is nog n jaar... they will spend when they see fit, but throwing money isn't always the answer, unless you subscribe to chelsea fc's philosophy. Not buying right now doesn't make them poorly managed, unless you know something we don't...

What are you talking about running at the top of the comp. They are doing that better than any other side this season... unless you watch imaginary tv :D

Remember, expensive players don't help when you're second or third...

+1.. this wasnt an just another injury to just another player, it was a serious injury to a player with an incredible amount of talent

Yip. I don't think any decent human being can relish this sort of thing at all.

Hope it turns out to be not so serious, but it is not looking good right now. Still, people have come back from similar (Henrik Larsson for one)
