yup i have never seen an injury like

nobody knows if his career is over if the bone heals fine he'll be alright

top me i think its a 50/50

i have actually seen worse challenge's that dont get red and the player walks away without injury

i think it was just unlucky caught he him right on the good spot to do that

remind me of bloodsport 1 when that oke kick his opponent's leg and the bone comes out, hectic

pity though because he was looking a good prospect

but to the extent of the injury recieved by eduardo... its not an every week occurance.. its career ending.. i doubt its happened to many premier league teams before

It has happened. Not often, but it does happen. Larsson wrapped his leg around someone else's a few years ago and recovered. I know when it happened he wasn't a Premier League player at the time, but still. Go to youtube and you'll see lots of terrible injuries like this one.

Arsenal would be getting a lot more support for this poor guy if it wasn't for the irritating double standards and garbage spouted by their myopic fans and manager.

We all agree it was a horrible thing to happen and wish Eduardo a speedy recovery(sincerely) but the reaction to this, the calling for a life ban for what was essentially an accident, is bordering on the ridiculous.

But Wenger has come out and said it was in the heat of the moment and he retracts what he says, what more do you want?

I want everybody to calm down. I want more professionalism from Arsenal as a whole. And I want to never again hear one word said about a lifetime ban. That is what I want.

Yet another ridiculous claim debunked. Look towards the bottom of the link, there is the same pic minus the pixelation, and guess what, no smirk!

Pathetic.

well - glad to see hes not smiling... still think it was more than a mistimed tackle though since you can see clearly in 1 of the pics, his studs were against the top of eduardos shin, way above the ball...

anyway.. I hope Chelsea whip Spurs in the CC final today

Yes, I know what you mean. The studs were high, justified red card. Can't see any intent though, in the 3rd minute of a game, from a player who isn't like that.

Anyway, onto more important things like...er...the tin cup! :p
