You need to recognise offence - lol. Hey Arsenal have not just lasted... they are still no 1. We're not talking survival here. Remember what happened the last time Manchester were on 'top'... it must have got to them!
 
yip thats why i say chasing this season seems easier than defending

although arsenal have blown 2 5 point leads

also arsenal are only top because united have not slaughtered derby :), so if you wanna look at the big picture united are 1 point ahead cause we all know they will beat derby

Why don't man usa supporters wait till their players deliver before crowing?
It's cool with me, but I've just always wondered... then they walk around with the longest faces when they fail...

ENGLISH FOOTBALL GIVEN `RACIST` WARNING

English football has been warned it will be branded 'racist' unless it appoints more black managers.


MK Dons' Paul Ince and Macclesfield's Keith Alexander are the only black managers currently in charge at the 92 Premier and Football League clubs. In contrast, approximately 33% of players plying their trade in the leagues are black.


"It's embarrassing and something is drastically wrong - the statistics don't lie," Brendon Batson, the FA's consultant on equality and diversity, told The Daily Telegraph. "If it carries on much longer, there will be a clamour to say, 'You're just a bunch of racists'." Most worrying is the lack of any obvious progress over the past decade."


Batson also hinted that the FA would consider introducing a form of positive discrimination in order to improve the ratio. "I'm an optimistic person but there will come a time when we'll have to be more radical," he commented.


In a typically waffly statement, Garth Crooks, who is apparently an advisor to the Equality and Human Rights Commission as well as an insufferable television pundit, suggested that football was considered 'institutionally racist' by some in the game.


"The evidence is overwhelming. In the past the industry has been appalling at encouraging black players to make the transition into coaching and management," he complained. "Everybody in football is trying very hard to address the perception from grassroots that the industry might be perceived as institutionally racist."
