I hope Wenger plays RVP on Tuesday

its unlikely.. he said he wont rush him back, and he will be invaluable in the last portition of the league, so cant see wenger risking him, maybe he'll come on for the last 20 mins as a sub or something to get a bit of a run

3-1 away to Bolton not bad. Very lucky in the first half though :D

Bolton's season is really in trouble though.

Still, there are a lot of bad teams in the prem this year, so they are unlikely to go down. Fulham and Derby are awful.

Not so sure about Fulham. If games where 80 mins they'd by top half of the table :D. Bolton beat A. Madrid in the UEFA cup which ain't bad.

But you're right. How Wigan can be above the drop zone is beyond me. Newcastle 3 points above religation shows how bad they've been. Could have had 5 goals against Blackburn though.

Less said about Derby the better

Indeed. Newcastle have been absolutely dire this season. I am not sure how they managed to get the point that they have as it is!

Wigan are also just plain bad.

Could you imagine if Newcastle went down under Keegan

The city would be declared a disaster area. Martial law imposed.

:D

Agreed - it's all relative though - Man USA's second to Arsenal would probably cause the same uproar :D

aai aai aai. poor old arsenal. they're struggling at the moment and if it weren't for a rather fortuitous in the dying seconds, Man United would've gone top for good. United are in prime form at the moment and it's just a matter of games before Man United go top for good. Arsenal's title hopes for all competitions could be over by the end of this week.

Nothing fortuitous about the goal. Well taken corner, good header to set it up. Nice finish. :)

on the performance ...
"We had a hangover from last week definitely - you could see that in the first-half. We needed to dig deep to find the pace of the game. In the second-half we were a little bit better but lacked that spark. The reason we got a point today was the desire and the refusal to lose."

I'm not exactly worried. United should focus on their team winning, not their rivals failing. :D

Hehe. Fighting talk indeed.

This time next week we'll be top of the league and in the quarters of the Champions league :)

Kevin Keegan has refused to assure Newcastle owner Mike Ashley that the club will still be in the Premiership next season. Citing a tough fixture list and a rubbish set of players, and blaming the Toon's failure to recruit in January, Keegan is understood to have warned Ashley that they are in deep, deep trouble

Hehe. More here:http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_3228443,00.html
