When a 'legend' plays, the team is untouchable, no 'legend' needs games to settle to perform.

VAN PERSIE IS NO LEGEND, he is none better than Dirk Kuyt, they are both good strikers.

Are you joking?are we watching the same RVP?the guy has amazing technical ability,hes WAY better than useless kuyt

Kuyt and Van Persie are in the same boat, unless you can prove me wrong. do a head to head comparison, and prove me wrong. If you cant do this than STFU ! ;)
 
if you can compare kuyt to van persie then you dont know much about your rivals :)
 
i never knew he played striker i thought he was wing/midfield

pointless is comparing a player to other players who have retired
 
yeah he is a striker but his talent is incredible, hes just been plagued with injuries
 
yeah and hes only played about 14 games this season and scored +-7.. how much has kuyt scored, considering hes started almost every game for liverpool? comparing the two players is ridiculous..they are in no way similiar (besides for both being dutch ofcourse)
 
yea kuyt is being played as a winger and midfield role not out and out striker so you would expect him not to score

put in a striker role and think kuyt would score alot more

OK so why dont you give me a head to head comparison. You will be surprised to see how talented Kuyt really is.

Firstly you just proved you dont know much, especially if you rate a player to be a legend when you dont even know which position he plays.

Second, exactly my point, RVP has proved nothing but he is a good striker.
he does not go into the 'legend' category.
 
Can't even compare the two RVP is light years ahead in everything other than work rate :o

I agree,RVP isnt legend.
 
career stats wont tell u whos more talented,u simply need to watch them play and you will see the difference

He's been out for months and isnt back to his old self yet

Kuyt did nothing against Man utd

And i never said he was a legend

And im not an arsenal,liverpool,chelski,manutd supporter.
