You win the league by trying to win the most games. If you can't win as many, you don't deserve the title. Simple as that. Saying you lost less games and deserve to win the league is like asking to prove a negative :rolleyes:
Come on, join the Man United crew. At least you can be proud if you join us.

Just using Merc aka bandwagon jumpers theory. He says that United won more games and scored more goals, they DESERVE to win the league.

I say thats nonsense. If United draw to Wigan and Chelsea win their last fixture. Does Chelsea deserve to win, one can argue they lost the least games.

I say whoever wins their last game deserve to win. Teams are equal on points.

hahaha yea predicting scorelines has never been my strong point

although i would like to point out that when arsenal where 5 points clear i did say they would finish third or 4th so i think that was pretty good haha but yea results of specific games not my thing :)

The team who wins the most games and scores the most goals AND concedes the fewest should really always win...When United beat Wigan , this will be confirmed. If Chelsea were to somehow manage to sneak the league I don't think many people will really honestly say they deserved it going by the way they approach the game.

So you don't think a team that has played better football for the duration of the season deserves to win? IOW, a team can play crap but get away with and they deserve to win the league? I think not. Ask any real supporter of any team and they will disagree with you. We don't score 1 and sit back and defend the whole game, unlike some other teams :rolleyes:

the league in on a plate for united, come on i cannot see anything but victory over wigan and if united cannot beat wigan do they really deserve the trophy?

there are 38 games in a season not 36 or 37 :)

i would say arsenal have played the most beautiful football out of the all teams yet they sit 3rd when they should have sown up the title long time ago
its about results and not who deserves what

your a deserving winning team when you win the league not before

If Chelsea sneak the win. Yes they deserve it. Thats my view ;)

Look at last year, same thing happened with Barca and Real. Barca dominated the entire season. Scored miles more goals than Real. Last 2 months Real started to slip into second, and then eventually became equal in points with Barca.

As much as i love to believe that Barca were outdone, the truth is Real deserved the league. Barca were miles ahead in goal difference yet still lost the league.

So if Chelsea sneak the win, they deserve it.

Biased

If one team were to win 20 games 1-0 and draw the other 18 0-0 they would have 78 points. Take another team who wins 24 games 5-0 , draws 5 games 3-3 and loses 9, totalling only 77 points. I know who I would rather have win the league.

Don't forget that in February United were still 9 points behind Arsenal. To come from behind like they did is a great achievement in itself.

yea but again i'll say arsenal threw away the league

they should walked this league and i think during the season they threw away 3 5 point leads
