2007 Legal issues - New WISP

Afternoon Everyone,

I have read all the legal posts i could find on this site and searched google SA also didnt deliver any accurate information, what i want to know is the legal info regarding starting up a WISP:

1. Is there still a VANS license, and can you apply for one? if so whats the process
2. What's the new or existing law in crossing roads using 2.4 ect ect

Is there someone that could shed some light on this topic as i am sure there is a couple of people with the same questions?

if you planing on using 2.4 do some more research

i think the efficient ICASA is changing lots of licensing so your guess is as good as theirs. phone them and find out and post your results

Dont even consider 2.4 man, to many wisps nowadays.

ICASA would be your best bet. If you are serious about it why not contact them, you are going to need a licence after all...
