2007 Rugby World Cup

The 2007 rugby world cup is only weeks away now and I think the Boks have a very good chance of making the semi finals and once there, there is every possibility that they could make the finals and then really it's up to the bounce of the ball as to who wins that!!

So in essence what I'm saying is the Springboks could win the rugby world cup!!

In fact should the Boks win their pool chances are they'll meet Wales in the quarters, France in the semis and either NZ or OZ in the finals!!

In any event one game at a time I guess and tonight see's another warm up game for the Boks against Connacht of Ireland. It's a game where a lot of 2nd stringers will start for SA but the Boks will be expected to win comfortably, wheather permitting the Boks should win by 40pts. Interesting to see Ruan Pienaar starting in the pivotal flyhalf position!!

Enjoy the game and lets get behind the Boks in their pursuit of glory...

WHAT A SHAMBLES< WHAT A DISGRACE

This was the closest match to a real school boy rugby? performance I ever had to witness, The handling.....lack of dicipline.....comedy of errors, they made this "Connacht" look like pro's. There was a few firefly's but the backline and wings, Even Habana did not feature on the short while he was in, never had a chance but for one good tackle. Yo-Yo, we stand a good chance in missing the first stage at this kind of performance. Hopefully we will do better with the "real" team but it can be clearly seen what the quota system is doing to the expectations. What a Jake, I mean Joke.

Agreed, pretty inept performance from the Bok B side. Nothing short of embarrassing really and Scotland must be licking their lips at the prospect of playing a team that although stronger man for man on paper never really asserted themselves or played with any sort of efficiency, technical prowess or skill to suggest they world cup contenders. However it's the B side (although they played like the E team) and this serves as an early reminder that mediocrity will not get you any where in life other than unemployed...
