2007 Super 14 (Rugby)

Anybody know who won the warm-up matches this past weekend?
Stormers played against the Bulls IIRC
 
I believe the Lions will be the surprise package of S14 2007. They are the dark horses (dark lions?) of the tournament. It's a young team that will require a few seasons to get up to speed, but they are going to cause upsets this year for sure. No easy pickings like before.

All SA teams will do better this year I believe. The Sharks and Bulls must be favourites. With their Ausie skills coach the Bulls will be a much improved and a better balanced team this year.

It all obviously depends on the effect the World Cup player exclusions may have on the 2007 tournament. Some teams may loose critical players at critical times that may skew the whole thing.

It certainly is going to be a very interesting s14 this year, all the national player exclusions, the teams improving all the time, and some real interesting signings *wink*bobby*wink*

Well done to the aussie teams on the first week of super14. 3 out of 4 wins. And a nice win for the reds (my team, lol), courtesy of another league convert.

Nice to get off to a good start.

If the folks in CT were to be believed, Schalk, Luke & Breyton and one or two other names were all they needed to win this thing.

I'm a Sharks supporter but I still want all the SA teams to do well!
 
I think a win tonight will set up our season for success. Still no bobby. I think it's a good thing!

Well that was fckng miserable to watch!!!!!!!!

Russell was the only stormers player on the field. Her MUST be regretting his decision!
 
:mad: Why oh why do SS insist on sending the pommie postman to commentate on the Sharks matches.

Second rate commentators should be commentating on second rate teams. ie. Stomers v Force.:D
