The chipped consoles are only gonna get more with the news of Microflop increasing their priceses on the 360 and games. I have a 360 myself and cannot/will not pay R1000 for a games.

Yeah it's pretty much insane. I mean +-R600 was already a killer in general, I can see our console market dying in the near future (although everybody will start importing) if they increase it to R1k. People just won't pay that much for one game.
