2008 Lexus IS250

I'm trying to convince my wife to sell her CR-V as she doesn't really give a **** about cars and it's quite expensive. Found a 2008 IS250 with 95 000km on the clock for R139k. As far as I know Lexus are generally very reliable, but are there any quirks on the IS250, especially coming up to 100 000km? How high are servicing costs?

It is basically a luxury toyota ,the engine is made by toyota it should be cheap to maintain?

Go for it IMO, they're feature rich and reliable cars.

How much is extreme? I got quoted 6k from an independant to service my merc which the dealer is only offering me 60k for.

Check for carbon buildup. Otherwise solid cars, albeit seriously underpowered.

From what I've hear the prices are not bad, not much different from servicing a corolla. These cars are good second hand buys, dunno why they are not more sought after.
