Man o man i hope we see gibbs and gilly go crazy and set a 200-220 total and i hope it gets chased or close to chased :p
 
Yea also they never complete the tournament so if you think about it, it was stupid to have bought the 2 of them and even gale because they played so few games before they had to go play for their countries.

AFAIK, they get paid pro rata. So that 1.5mill was a maximum based on three full IPL seasons.

Still over paid.

Bowling: 105/2 in 11 overs over three games. Econ rate 9.54
Batting: 62 runs in three innings.

That's pretty poor for someone costing as much as he did and taking up one of the four overseas player slots.
 
Well i don't think 9 to the over is all that great, nor do i think 62 runs is all that great but then again this is IPL and you cannot judge someone on 3 innnings and 11 overs i guess.

O do they get paid 1.6m over 3 seasons? wow that's low if you ask me should, be per season as the tv rights for this runs into the billions. Under paying these guys i think if the payment is for 3 seasons.

That snore-inducing Jacob Zuma closing speech was an embarrassment. Jacob, we know that you don't write your speeches; how about letting someone else read them now as well?
 
This Akon performance is a bloody joke as well. Sound is terrible. He's not even trying to fake the fact that he's miming - in fact he stops singing for a lot of the track as well. He also believes that he is in India which was fscking funny when he said it!!! :D

And the extent of the live performance is some arb dude in the background shouting "hey" over the track every now and then.

Also do u think it wud be better to have 3 leg semi finals instead of just one?I mean daredevils topped the log,but had 1 bad game nd get knocked out.Just seems a bit more fair to have 3 legs.
