Zuma will be the next pres, and that is more than a little scary.
I'm not way keen on Zuma - I would far rather have Cyril or Tokyo; but I'm more scared of Mbeki getting a third term.
I have been interested to see how much Zuma has been interacting with all sorts of people though - the FF+, for example. If he's interesting in getting feedback from everyone, that can't be a bad thing.

He is MASSIVELY popular. There is also the golden rule about African politics - the least desirable candidate ALWAYS comes romping home! Machel Nujoma Mugabe etc.

I would rather have the devil you know (Mbeki). He is the most useless president, never in the country, never accomplishes anything... and is starting to sound more and more like a communist dictator in his weekly letters.
But I can guarantee you, Mbeki is nothing compared to Zuma. I truely hope our black friends can look just north of us... and take notice whats happened to the 'bread basket of Africa'
Everyone I speak to has an impression that Zuma will "sort out the whites", and push for the "revolution". History has shown us many times what happens in Africa when this happens.
The 'people' will vote ANC no matter what. I just really hope that the ANC big wigs have half a brain to realise NOT to put Zuma in power
