Hey guys,

There is a new Hyundai being released next year and I think it looks amazing! It's called the Veloster and will directly rival the VW Scirocco, Mini Cooper, Honda CRZ, etc. 103kw / 167Nm is quite a lot from a naturally aspirated 1.6ltr. This car will only have 3 doors which will make it easier for PAX to enter the rear of the car. The Korean's are really coming to the party lately.. Pics below:

An Interior pic which I think looks really sweet. One of the best looking interiors in this class.

All in all I think this will be an amazing lil car that will boost Hyundai's reputation even more.

very ugly :sick: Suppose it will be a lot cheaper than a scirocco though...
 
Bah, odd sized passenger doors are so fail in a world where we drive on both sides of the road.

I'm sure in terms of looks they're NOT trying to catch up to the Germans. They're Korean, they're chasing the Germans in terms of engineering and quality of finishes but styling is uniquely Korean and i don't see a problem with that. Its different and not for everyone just like German styling is not for everyone. It would look pretty stupid if all their cars looked like Golfs now wouldn't it?

I like the new Elantra and Veloster, i think they look different yet beautiful

I think it looks stunning. Nice lines, and love the interior. Germans look kinda bland and generic inside. This is funky and a good car for young people.
 
I like the lines and overall I like the look of the car. Will be interested to see what it will cost.

I'm not so sure about the nose though.. looks a bit like the front of a shoe.

Still looks Fugly to me! :p

No doubt, the guys who like it will be the same crowd who said the new Polo was ugly! ;)
 
Ah, I see what happened here... the designers were busy tracing the front of the Citroen DS3 when a sudden inexplicable gust of wind carried away the photograph they were cribbing off of. With deadlines looming they completed the design by just randomly flailing at the drawing board...

The result? Ucking fugly.
