2015 Citroen C1

Reminds me of the Fiat 500. Wife still drives her 500C and it's an incredibly fun little car. Doubt we'll sell it soon.

Well, they have horrible resale value, so it will be a great 2nd hand car.

Looks like an inbred combo of a Picanto (bottom DRL), Fiat 500 (main beams and body), i10 (body and lines), and Sandero (rear lights), with a small pinch of Juke (top light... cluster?)

Anyone mad or stupid enough to even consider buying this overpriced piece of sh*t should get there heads examined. NEVER buy them, unless you have money to waste.

"Citroën South Africa says it has updated its C1 baby hatch with a “new engine” and “keener pricing”, while retaining its high specification level.
While that “new” engine is PSA's familiar 1-litre three-cylinder normally aspirated motor with 51kW and 96Nm on offer, what the release fails to mention is that the “old” engine was actually a more powerful 1.2-litre unit with 60kW and 116Nm on hand.
So it's undergone an engine downgrade, but wait, there's method to the madness here as the sub 1000cc engine size means PSA doesn't have to pay any duty on it thanks to a trade deal between us and Europe, one which has also resulted in our Fiestas and Sanderos being rather well priced.
The “keener pricing” part of it, then, is a retail tag of R149 900 for the C1 Feel, down from R168 900, while the Airscape model, with a fold-back canvas roof, is now yours for R159 900.
While the new prices don't quite put it in the bargain bin, these C1 models are rather well equipped, with standard kit including automatic climate control, multi-function steering wheel, four-speaker audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, tyre pressure monitor, six airbags, ESC stability control and 15-inch alloy wheels.
Given that it's trying to do the boutique hatch thing, the Citroën also offers a wide range of accessories and trims and two new colours (Scarlet Red and Blue Lagoon) join the range."

tl;dr: So less power and less price;

Excellent price for an excellent little car. Finally something original with a bit of character.

Seems like much better value than the VW options to me.

I guess size wise it directly compares to the Up1?

VWSA only sells 3-door Up! so that people will still buy the horrible old Vivo. The C1 comes with 5 doors.

An interesting point...but is a small car like this really sensible with 5-doors?

I'm willing to bet feature-for-feature the VW will be more expensive.

The rear space in the latest C1 is extremly tight for a normal sized bloke; I sat one; Aygo will of course be the same.

So yes Aygo & C1 are five door cars they are very tight 4 person car carriers lol

More sensible than a 3 door would be. If you are trying to squeeze 4 people into a tiny car,2 extra doors generally help
