Here are some spied images of the 2015 Civic Type R. I must say I quite like this!! Will definitely wait for this to come out before buying a new car. They are talking of the car possibly having more than 300hp. And if you look at what they are comparing it to in the images (Astra OPC and Focus RS500) then I think 300hp+ is definitely on the cards. *snore* was hoping for another radical design change.

I'm a Civic fan (just bought one). But I have to agree. Looks like a bog standard Civic with a bodykit. Hopefully the production car looks a little better - always tough to gauge with these camouflage pics...

Well I think the "radical" design change will be under the hood. 1st time Honda will have a Type R turbo.

It might not be the full retail kit on the car yet, but it'll still get whipped by just about anything with a turbo up here on the Reef.

Srsly?! Cool beans!

Not to be funny, but isn't it always like that? Like my Type R is a bog standard FN2 with a body kit? The Focus ST is a bog standard Focus with a body kit. The hotter version is not a new car all together and this is no exception. Look at the rear, the front fenders. The lights. Sure there will be a lot of differences inside as well

You can clearly see the intercooler in the front on images

Well not sure now if he got my gist but I was referring to the big design change which started changing the shape of all the other cars coming out at the time (previous shape Fiestas and Toyotas)

I still think it looks good though :) Will have to wait and see when the car has been released.

Agreed though I prefer the old tail-lights. Not sure what it is with new designs having extruding light lenses, only makes 'em easier to break.

Definitely agree on that. But hey, it looks a helluva lot better than the standard one :)

I'm sorry; did you actually expect me to look at photos of a Honda of my own volition? :p

I guess it has more to do with my dislike for the current design of the Civic than anything else. It's lost its brute edginess and adopted a more conservative design...

Let's wait for the R to come out. I too hate the standard Civic, but I quite like what I am seeing here.

Fortunately the rest of the world doesn't care about what a few thousand people on the reef think :)
