True. The Israeli’s are possibly the most sophisticated voters on the planet. They have all done military service and they must be aware that this vote implies that mothers, fathers, children, etc. will probably be called upon to risk their lives and hold back the barbarian hordes. This is the way they’ve voted.
It’s like vile tasting medicine. You would rather not take it but if that’s what’s required to heal the body politic, let the cards fall where they may.
