2015 VW Polo GTI

Probably will be faster than the ST. It's still a boring Polo though. The ST is only a 1.6 as well. That being said, I make more power at the wheels than ths Polo at the flywheel.

So your "full exhaust" and "stage 2" chip gives it 140kw at the wheels? Yeah whatever...

For some, 140kw is but a fantasy. Like a beautiful woman, they gaze upon her from afar. They publicly mock those who sup from the succubus' cup.

Yes it does, butit it is not strongest one. There is one in DBN with Stealth software that does 147wkw, one in Kempton with Celtic stage 2 that does 155wkw. And, its not a "chip" but direct mapping via OBD port.

Why does this one have VORSPRUNG on the side? I though that was Audi's gig:
It's weird, people with entry level cars like decorating it with stuff from cars that they can't afford. I once saw a Corsa with Ferrari stickers all over it...

That's pretty strong ...

So you have around 170kw fly on 1.4 engine? If that figure is correct, I don't see it lasting super long :/

You ever done timing at all? I'd be interested to see what you're like with other cars - because you should be able to take Golf 7 GTIs from the lights

I'm the same - I put Slipknot and Iron Maiden stickers on my Honda to make it sound louder.

It's a 1.6, not a 1.4. I have taken a few GTI's from teh lights, as well as A3's. Once the VAG's load software, it's over though. Modded ones are very quick.

Oh thought you had the Polo. Sorry

The fun thing about the 1.4 Polo GTi is that they barely make good figures on the dyno, even with modifications.
But on the road they run like a bat outa hell!!!

2018 Volkswagen Polo GTI Spied

The next generation of the VW Polo GTI has been spotted being tested in the United States.

The all-new, 6th-generation VW Polo is set to be revealed during in 2017 and then reach showrooms soon thereafter. The GTI derivative is only destined for 2018, but, as can be seen from the images captured in Death Valley USA, this pre-production test unit is shod with classic GTI wheels and fitted with chrome tailpipes. The photographers noted that the car looks longer and wider than the current Polo (the next GTI should also be lighter than the current model).

The current range of engines is likely to be carried over to the 2018-generation Polo with the GTI retaining it 1.8-litre turbopetrol powerplant. Volkswagen will also use its scalable MQB platform to underpin the new Polo; in other words, it will share its underpinnings with the Golf, but be a slightly shorter vehicle.
