2016 Subaru Forester

Saburu very slow on xenon or led headlights.. Wtf

I really really really want a diesel forester but **** they are expensive.

Seeing as they aren't available, I guess they are "expensive" then.............
Now I feel like an ass sorry. I was under the impression that the top of the range model was a diesel.

This puts a whole new twist on things. How is the real world fuel consumption of the cheaper 2.0 and 2.5 models as I get about 1050km from my Tiguan (diesel) with 65 litre tank.

I would really like an automatic for a change but just a bit scared that fuel consumption will be very high.

Diesel hasn't been available since the shape change in the Forester, but is still available in the Outback, with a delicious 7 speed auto box.

The Lineartronic box is very good for fuel consumption on the new Forester, but in real terms, you are never going to get diesel consumption figures. At best low 7's/100, at worst, just over 10 l/100

Outback does not really tickle my fancy

The Outback has to be driven in order to be blown away by it.

Magnificent car to own!

I had 3 of my own, plus two as company cars, and it is a real sleeper, once you are behind the wheel you forget the looks and just enjoy the experience. The latest one is looking much better as well.

My wife loves our Outback Diesel. Really great all-round car.

Great mommy wagon, loads of space when we go camping and good economy.

Sorry for the Necro.

Does anyone know how much space this car has in the rear seats? Can it comfortably fit 3 teenagers (one almost 6 foot)?

How does it compare space wise with CRV, Hyundai, Kuga (as far as I understand these have most space in class).

I sold the previous Forester to a family of 5, all over 6 ft tall, and they were quite comfortable - the new Forester is even bigger - probably has the most leg room of any of the current SUV's.

Kuga is small in comparison.

Awesome thanks - always liked Subaru's even though I never owned one. Adding it to my list to test-drive.

Great! You won't be sorry! :D

I agree with this! My grandfather bought one in 1998 which now has just more than 400k on the clock. He used it to tow a caravan around the country for many years...I must admit that the interior is still like new :)
