It's not just the looks. Its more than that. I just gave you the most likely answer.

Baleno is newer as well so more tech & convenience features.
Ok I'll have to go look again. I compared them the other day and I saw no reason reason to buy the Baleno instead of the Ciaz.

As we know Baleno = excellent fuel economy & class-leading interior space.

Still not a fan of the local models aftermarket infotainment system & zero soft-touch plastics. Still feels reassuringly solid.

You won't find anything different to what you found when you looked the first time, as Fiesta said the other one is a hatch compared to the sedan, hatch will always win, not just in this instance, just check how many hatch Polos VW sells compared to the sedans, it does not need to be based on any sound reasoning, just our market preferences, the same way people would choose a bad handling, high riding, FWD SUV, over a more fun to drive low to the ground sedan.

Yea I did look again and there is not much difference in terms of specifications. The Ciaz has slighty better ground clearance wich is better for me since I travel on dirt roads on occasion.

I'm looking at these, the Sandero, Jazz and maybe the Clio.
