Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has asked to leave the club.

The Algeria international joined the Foxes from Le Havre in January 2014 and helped them secure promotion to the Premier League in the 2014/15 season.

Mahrez also played a key role in helping them secure the title last season, scoring 18 goals in 39 matches in all competitions.

Dunno about whether he's been tested like keepers at "big" clubs but like him, there a few good keepers around. Whether they can survive the scrutiny that comes with playing for a massive club is the question.

He was sitting on Chelsea bench for the past few seasons

Antoine Griezmann has apparently handed in his transfer request. United will need to meet the €100 million release clause to land him, assuming there's no other competing clubs - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...wants-atletico-madrid-manchester-united-must/

Ex-City player Clichy is apparently in talks with Liverpool over a 2-year deal, although a few other clubs are also interested in the left-back - https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...-gael-clichy-man-city-contract-free-transfer/

^^Looks like atletico's transfer ban has been upheld, that might affect the transfer if they cant get a replacement in

It might but he can leave and he wants to which may leave them cashing in and surviving til the next window

Arsene Wenger has verbally agreed a 2 year extension at Arsenal. Looks all but official now:

#WengerIn?

Glad to hear this news ! IMPO Arsene did a great job for the 2016-2017 season, and he did win the FA Cup. The fans are understandably frustrated with him, but being with the club for over 20 years the fans should look at it in a way that Arsene should continue with Arsenal and no other club until he decides to retire. He is a very good coach and has worn the t-shirt etc etc.. Don't always blame the coach, the players and technical staff are also to blame here for Arsenal not making the Uefa Champions League for 2018.

buys youngster: why the hell is he buying these unproven children

doesnt buy youngster who comes good: why the hell isnt he buying these kids before they become $XXmillion player

Why doesnt he buy youngster that turns into $XXmillion player?

maybe cos they cost 40 odd million to buy... and Arsenal isn't willing to spend that for any player?

Thats what I'm arguing..He doesnt take the risk and uses that logic above to argue
