So July it is then. A no brainer for either party. Arsenal don't need the 20m & Alexis is better off getting 30m than 15m. If they really wanted to get him now they'd offer Arsenal a lot more than that.

Arsenal should call PSG in the hope that they offer more.

Arsenal dont need the £20m ? Why ? Who doesnt need/want £20m ?

What I mean is they'd sooner pass on the 20m than sell now. Sure they need the money but in their mind the cost/benefit doesn't make sense. They think they can achieve more than 20m return keeping him than taking 20m now.

They went the other way with RVP and i think that costed them the league that season, but they needed the money more back then.

Hope they let him go now and but keep Mezut.
 
Why on earth would Arsenal reach an agreement with Man City for a free transfer after his contract expires.

They either reach an agreement to sell in January, or nothing.

Why would Arsenal care what Sanchez gets.

I think it's just the wording that's inaccurate, but you get the gist.
 
SANCHEZ’S £30M FEE

Manchester City already have a deal in place with Alexis Sanchez if he decides to join them, according to Sky in Italy.

If he goes to them in the summer he'll get a contract worth £13million a year in wages, plus a £30m signing on fee. If he walks away in the summer, then Arsenal will get nothing.

Alternatively, if Arsenal are prepared to let Sanchez go to City now, they would get a £20m fee.

Pep Guardiola has worked with Sanchez before of course, at Barcelona, and we've been told there is a good relationship between the two.

Erm I don't think this part is true... Pep sold Sanchez because he didn't play according to Pep's plan

“He’s a great player and I always knew that he would be a success when he left, especially if he went somewhere he would be the protagonist. He’s the kind of player who needs that.

Dani Alves said a player must learn the tiki-taka Barcelona style of play to have a long career with the team.

The fact he is out of contract or almost out of contract means they're getting him on the cheap...some of the money they would have paid Arsenal for a sale in-contract, can go to him as a signing bonus.

City have long been linked with a move for Arsenal forward Sanchez, who is out of contract with the Gunners in the summer.

It was thought that they would face little competition for the Chilean, whose desire to join Pep Guardiola’s side is no secret.

But The Guardian say that United have made a move to ‘hijack’ the deal, and Jose Mourinho is ‘believed to be confident of winning the race’.

Fabrizio Romano writes that while City have agreed personal terms with Sanchez amounting to £250,000 a week, their offer of £20million has been trumped by United.

The Red Devils have offered £25m for Sanchez, and ‘their proposal would also see Sanchez earn more than he has been offered by City’.

Another trump card United may hold is in the future of Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Romano adds that Arsenal ‘have also been offered the opportunity’ to sign the Armenian – although his wages could prove an issue.

Sources saying LFC is lining up a top top class player. No one wants to reveal the name as yet, but i think it might be Sanchez since he will playing regulary.
