It’s sporty, fun to drive and not underpowered at all.

Everyone enjoying their Clios??? Lol
Mine is racing to the 15,000km mark now that I work further away from home, but I am truly impressed by the fuel efficiency of it despite all the driving I am doing with the AC in this hot JHB weather.
Brakes are squeaking a bit though, whatever material they are, it's a bit noisy when it gets hot.

2019 Renault Clio: new pictures show Megane design influence
Electrification and Level 2 autonomous technology will be offered on Renault's next-generation Ford Fiesta rival
The next-generation Renault Clio has been spotted clad in its own bodywork for the first time, showing that its design will take influence from the larger Mégane.
Spotted on the continent beneath heavy camouflage, the five-door hatchback has slimmer headlights that appear to feature Renault's C-shaped lighting signature. The car's overall shape is familiar to the current Clio, but the tailgate looks slightly more raked, with a shorter overhang.
Renault Europe chairman Jean-Christophe Kugler said last year that the fifth-generation Clio will feature significantly more technology than the current car.
It's due with the model's first electrified powertrain, possibly in the form of a Hybrid Assist set-up that could be carried over from the Mégane and Scénic. It's also possible that the Clio could be given a plug-in hybrid powertrain. This would make it the first model in the supermini segment to gain such a variant.
Additionally, the Clio will come with Level 2 autonomous technology, meaning the speed and steering of the car can be automatically controlled, although the driver must remain ready to take control at all times. Renault's alliance with Nissan means that much of this hardware and software will likely be shared with the latest Nissan Leaf electric car.
The Clio will also feature cutting-edge connectivity technology inside, likely housed within a portrait-orientated infotainment system, as in the Mégane.
Power for the wider Clio range is expected to come from a familiar selection of low-capacity engines. The brand’s 0.9-litre TCe turbocharged three-cylinder has faced criticism, so it will likely be heavily revised if it isn’t replaced. Diesel engines, including a 1.5-litre dCi shared with Nissan, look set to remain, despite the market’s ongoing shift away from oil-burners.

How's everyone enjoying their Clios?
Took mine for its yearly service at Renault Fourways, always a pleasure dealing with them. Had to do the 30,000km service even though the car just only hit 20,000km, lol, most of its life with me I was living close to work so I didn't put much milage on it.
The little 898cc motor seems to be loving the cold weather and saving me from the fuel price, lol, absolutely sipping the fuel.

They are brilliant.
My dealer once gave me a 2014 Clio with over 75,000km while they did the service they had promised on mine at delivery, that thing felt good as new, the only way I could tell it had done high mileage was the the chrome around the media system was chipping away a bit, and the steering had a bit of wear, but otherwise she drove like a dream.

Europe’s top-selling supermini will return with dramatic interior changes and advanced technology to bring the fight to the Ford Fiesta
Renault is readying the fifth-generation Clio, ahead of its launch early next year.
Design boss Laurens van Den Acker confirmed the supermini's launch date to Autocar in September, and now, these new images show that the final stages of prototype testing are underway in southern Europe.
Den Acker also said the design was signed off. “It’s finished, it’s done, it’s dusted. It will be shown early next year. It’s going to be great. It has to be. It will be the best Clio we’ve ever done.”
The Clio will distinguish itself from rivals by being one of the most technologically advanced models in its class when it launces in 2019. The move is part of a bid by the French car maker to keep its supermini at the forefront of the sector, especially in the face of increasing competition from compact SUVs, to which traditional small cars are starting to lose out.
Van den Acker said criticism of current Renault interiors has prompted his team to focus on that area for future models. “interior-wise we try to make the difference. “That’s really where we’ve been criticised in the last few years, and we’re trying to create a very coherent concept."
The next Clio (imagined by Autocar below) is set to marry a honed exterior look with a dramatic new interior dominated by a Tesla-style infotainment screen. It will also be capable of semi-autonomous driving.

I'm pretty sure they will pull some design elements from the Megane, if I'm right, this is going be a really good looking supermini.
