2022 Ford Everest (3rd Generation)

My dream car at the moment... I could buy one, but then I'd be living on rice and bisto again
 
Aussie Paul recons the 4 Pot is nearly as good as the 6er, if you're towing then you will see a fair benefit with the bigger engine.

Why do they compare the latest gen Everest to the LC Prado? I thought the Everest competes with the Fortuner.

The latest Gen Everest has really stepped the game ito design, fit & finish, tech & pricing.

Many publications & sites feels it now goes toe to toe with the LC Prado.

Thanks @FiestaST. Do you think moving the Everest upmarket to challenge a household brand like the Prado is a good strategy?

I expected Ford to instead try to beat the Fortuner by providing more value while competing in the same price category.

On paper it is, they are already charging so much but it has the looks, tech & comfort features to back it up so it does makes sense.

How this all plays out when an all new Fortuner comes out in 1-2 years & will be priced & to see how that is positioned to the Everest & Prado.
