20GB Bundle - No longer available

Seems Vodacom have suspended the bundle package. Checked the website just now, the ad was still there, T&C's said valid till 9 Jan 2012, dumped R500 on a prepaid SIM, tried to activate the package and got a message back saying its no longer available. Called the call centre, same response. No longer available, but feel free to use your R500 to buy a 3GB bundle ... cos we can't refund your money due to our false advertising ... :mad:

Cannot access via website as their password reset is broken.
SMS to 100' tried mymeg 20 & mymeg 20 advanced as per the VC website. Both respond saying its no longer available.
Via call center (155) for advanced data queries I was told sorry for you, not available anymore but feel free to take a 3GB bundle for your R500 as we cannot refund it ...
 
I would take this much further if this is indeed the case, what a crock.

look guys, unfortunately its no longer for us prepaid users, vodacom always has and always will never give a damn about prepaid users, to them, all that matters is... sign a contract, sorry for your losses guys, beleive me, i frequent these forums and vodacom is slowly but surely burying themselves... this is nonsense! im glad you gys posted, saves a lot of others like us a whole lot of money, thanx guys

I bought another one 2 days ago & its still showing as available (prepaid) via USSD above
 
thanx tun@... i'll retry because it gives me a ssd string error, and do note on their official website the've now clearly stated... for contract subscribers, maybe ill be lucky a bit later today

What you said in bold is f'ed up.
 
I dont know if the offer is off or not, but I had a friend who isn't too clued up on this sort of stuff sold a 3gb bundle for 750 rand today by Vodacom.
 
still shows on the ussd list, not to keen to load R500 airtime just to test it :p
 
Still available through *111# Once off purchase Advance broadband! I was told this will be avail until 07-01-12

Thank you thank you thank you ... The option still exists on the advanced menu :) tis been deleted from the std menu :/
