22" for 2K

If i remember correctly most 24"ers are actually not TN but the other panels. Thats why their price has always been such a jump from the 22" screens. But ive seen a R3000? 24" from IC recently which makes me wonder if thats still the case.

I think for a 24" to runs games nicely you would need a mother GFX card.
Would be uber awesome though!

How does this 22" compare to samsungs 22"?

The samsung is an amazing screen. But if your tight on cash im sure this wouldn't be such a bad buy at all. 3yr warranty and all.

Ok well I rushed out to get this monitor - after phoning Makro head office and told none left, found one in Germiston, which they kept for me.
Then popped into gamers exchange in Edenvale and got a VGA HD cable for the xbox - and hooked up the xbox - WOW.
I didn't think there would be a difference and boy was I wrong - the game (COD4) is crystal clear - you see details you didn't notice - and there is no hiding anywhere - use the sniper and you notice a fraction of a change, no hiding anywhere!
Stuck in FIFA08 - and what you know, the stick men running around actually have different hair styles - sweet!
Now must just pop over to HI-FI Corp to see if they have the adaptor for the audio!
Anyhow monitor is damn sexy, I am pleased.
Germiston had a few good deals in store as well - are Makro on a cash drive? They were off loading Garmin 710s for R3500 - In store promo only - was tempted to but a few for resell, but too lazy.

i took mine back on monday, some idiot added a south african cable/plug in the box, but unwisely packed it on top of the screen.
it made a slight indentation and the screen played a bit "darker" on that area. unfortunately i was too busy (and excited) to notice it immediately. makro was out of stock and gave me a full cash refund.
looking for another lcd now, probably going to go with the samsung which seems to be top of the pops

Yeah I am sooo happy with my Samsung! I had an LG, it gave me problems from day one, backlight driver issues and the sort, went in twice for repairs, inverter and stuff, then they credited me and I got the Samsung, beautiful display 8000:1 DC 1000:1 CR, hdcp, the works, and even a height adjustable, fully tilt, rotate 90 stand! I like it so much I want to get my self a second one!
