22 Inch wide for games?

i went from 16" CRT to a 22" Wide 2232GW :D

My gaming addiction doubled for 2 months the purchase... and then I started to work overtime and my gaming time has been wtf pwnd
 
It was only 9999 at makro - it's a sinotec, but far better than any other featurewise, and for that price, you won't get any other 42" LCD capable of 1920x1080...

that thing of "but the Bravia has a better Engine" is a bunch of bull IMO, don't worry about brands so much, worry about size and resolution!

9999 is not bad for that monster! I love Sony, but their prices can be seriously outrages sometimes..
 
my budget was about R8000 - R10000
So I could basically chose between these:

- LG Scarlet 32" @1366x768 (USB Port, No DivX....nice Look)
- Sony Bravia 32" @1366x768 (No USB, No DivX)
- Samsung 5 Series 32" @1366x768 (No USB, No DivX, nice shiny finnish though...)
- Sinotec 42" @ 1920x1080 (2xUSB, + DivX Playback!)

Trust me, check out the sinotec when makro has a special again, they rock!!!

Yeah good choice there....I had look at a 102cm Logick Plasam at Game for R6999 on the weekend, but wasnt sure of its quality. Decided to stick to my 74Cm Wega for now :)
 
I think i saw a few 32" LCD's at about R5000 - R6000 (LG and Samsung LCD's)
 
Excuse my ignorance, but whats the diff between a LCD and a Plasma?
 
Just plugged my new Samsung 2232GW in and all I can say is WOW! I am in awe seriously....Calling in sick tmrw! :D
 
I was also looking at the 42" sinotech, but saw that the refresh rate is only 6.5ms... How does that screen look when playing games? Do u see any ghosting or anything?
