Okay so now I have the 2232GW and I officially have my 4850, in the Catalyst Control Centre is there the same option as Zulash stated where it automatically changes the aspect ratio for games not supported by wide screen?

Does the centring occur with that with flat panel scaling off?
and nVidia actually has a feature in its program (forgot what its called) which automatically changes your aspect ratio for games which do not support wide screen. Therefore, you will end up with a full screen game, however there will be 2 black patches on the sides of your game (basically centering as the previous post said).
Thanks Zulash! Just went out and bought the 2232GW, Now home time needs to hurry the F***K up so I can go home and test it!![]()
Just checked out that link that Alan posted and there is a registry hack for WC3 where you can manually assign the height and width thus enjoying full screen.
I run Warcraft 3 1440x1050 with no stretching (perfect 4:3 - native is 1680x1050) and black bars one each side.
Well, you can't change an apple into a pear.
Eish!?... you poeple with your 20"+ displays... still stuck with a 17" CRT!
Oh how I wish for a 19" LCD![]()

With the higher resolution it will put more strain on your graphics card
