22seven Android app launch date

Using this till banks start offering this as a service which they should by default.. anyway, can't wait for them to release an iPad version of the app as that would rock. Does it help?

Well prior to this i was using LifeLock (use to be called Lemon Wallet) which is great for tracking expenses but it becomes tedious fast when u have to snapshot every single recipient. I think in the end this saves me a lot of admin time needed to do it and being lazy i nolonger have to dedicate a few hrs to do it anymore and rather just a few minutes to re-categorize some of the transactions now and then.

Which bank do u use? Anyone tried a read only fnb account?

I have some inside info that banks in SA are slowly outsourcing the tech which does this sort of stuff. What they use it for who knows, but best guess is similar service. We'll see.

Is there something like an offline version of these programs. Where I can just export my monthly activity from internet banking and then import it into this program

FNB read only account works great for this. I started with this but switched to Nedbank's free "MyFinancialLife" service. Does exactly the same thing with a touch more customization.

For an offline option you can try Microsoft Money.

Today is the day of resurrection. Or it is not.

I only discovered this app now. Anyone else using it? Of course it request a lot of information for obvious reasons. Is it relatively safe to use?

Been using it for 3 years now. It's helped me a lot.

I have a read only profile setup on my bank accounts so information leakage is the worst I have to worry about

Can you maybe give more information on setting up read only? Is that done in the 22seven app or bank. I'm with AB$A.

Bank side My sympathies on your absa plight. No idea if they can do read only profiles

It's okay but does have strange quirks like you can't reenable disabled accounts or it's telling me my bank is having technical difficulties while I'm busy using it.

I've been using 22seven for quite a couple of years as well now, with FNB read only online banking profile. Works fine for me.
Has anyone tried something like Spendee as well as 22Seven? I would like to know if the Spendee premium is worth the cost or if 22seven is pretty much the same, but for free.
I know both use Yodlee for the collection of data from your bank, so no real difference there, I'm more interested in the representation of that data.
