23" vs 24"

Sticking with 24" as I sit no more than a metre away, even when stretched out watching a movie... A friend has a 27" and the thing is stupidly big for the distance I sit plus the pixel pitch is terrible as its a TV so you find yourself counting the individual pixels when bored with a movie...

Budget is no more than R2500

I see theres the Samsung BX2450 which is about R2400, even though it has that stupid stand its also looking quite attractive...

Hehe... But there are a number of forumites sitting at 90cm - 1m with 32" TVs as their PC screens.

Best thing I ever did. Them too.

Borrow your friend's 27" for a day, use with your desk, I guarantee you will not want to go smaller...

Anyway, at the end of the day budget is budget. Perhaps yours limits you to <24" in any case.

Oh believe me I'd love to lie back and browse the internet on the SO's parents 42" FHD plasma, but unfortunately, like you say budget is budget, and unfortunately mine is limited
