I have a 150GB Vodacom data sim that I signed up for two years ago. Seems like the first month was November 2023 so the 24 months are almost up.

Will the contract just end without me having to contact Vodacom? That's what I would prefer as I barely ever use the sim.

Just want to avoid a situation where they keep me on and I have to keep paying. Here is the first invoice:

your contract will state what happens - normally they will either renew it or put you on month to month
If you weren't using it, should have actually cancelled long ago. Would have saved some money

Contact them , I had a small data contract with them and assumed it would just die at the end of the contract period...
It didnt...

Finally getting around to this. I dial 0821958 and get the robot dude saying I need to enter the number I'm querying. So I type in the number on the invoice I get every month and he says it's invalid... WTF VODACOM

I tried several times using the 2771***** or 071**** version. HOW THE **** DO I SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON.

Customer care 082135 also gets me a robot dude who wants a number. Can't even insert the number in time before the robot cuts me off. IF THE NUMBER DOESN'T EXIST HOW ARE YOU BILLING ME. Is the number on my invoice every month incorrect???? The customer care line idiot robot just says they can't help anyone without a valid number while I type in the number....

I guess my contract ended if the number doesn't exist (although the sim is still working in a router right now). Don't bill me next month. I tried to get hold of you for the last hour.

Imagine how many people Vodacom is ****ing over every day in the country because they can't contact them to cancel their contracts. ****ing scum of South Africa. I don't even want to cancel. I just want to make sure it ends after 24 months like I signed up for.

Guess I have to go to a Vodacom store to sort this crap out. A cellphone company who you cannot contact with a cellphone: Vocadom.
