2494HS Really Worth It?!

Well options are always nice and 350 is not much more to pay for options.

I find sometimes going a bit cheaper works out more expensive in the long run.

The smaller dot pitch is better though, isn't it?

Yea, the smaller dot pitch usually means better quality, don't know if the human eye can pick up such small differences though.

a DVI to HDMI converter will give the same quality as the HDMI port itself.

As a matter of interest, how much does an HDMI-DVI converter go for?

Guys the 2333SW is fantastic, definatly tilts, I wouldnt care about the 11mm difference, going from a 19" to the 23" was sweet enough for me. I liked it so damn much I bought a second one for my wifes PC two days later. The 2333SW also looks more snazzy with its gloss finish.

At the end of the day the 2494HS is a better monitor on paper - has a higher contrast ratio, also supposed to have betta back lighting system ? But you pay for that. The 2333SW is sweet enough, the pic is fantastic, I love my games in HD ... mmmm nice!!

how many more confirmations of it's ability to tilt do we need????

If you are willing to spend the extra for a bigger screen, spend it

That extra few mm means a lot

I have a 2333SW, and its awesome

If i were buying a monitor now i would go for the 2333SW, i don't think the extra couple of bucks is worth it for the 2494HS
