Hi there, I'd like to know some particulars about this account... I've just activated it, if I start grabbing local now, does it use of my international/all access bandwidth and then only after that it uses of my local?

The 1st 2 gigs downloaded weather it be local or intl counts to your 2gig international cap..

An ISP that can seperate the two things would gain a lot of customers..

Apparently if you use route sentry, you will be fine, the first 2 gigs wont be used up by intl traffic

This is not correct. As it has been pointed out, the initial cap is 2gb of local and intl. Thereafter you have 28gb of local only.

Routesenty is used to combine two separate accounts (say a local only account after your 2gb and a webafrica prepaid with international access) into a single interface and routes traffic to either account appropriately.

This is my first month using this package. My idea was to blow the 2Gb on international downloads as quick as possible, and then use the account like a local only since it is only R29 more than the 30Gb local only account.

5Gbs later and I'm still waiting for the international cap to kick in.  :)

I'm not sure if IS uses a relaxed capping system or if you are "capped" onto a low priority ip range. If you are on low priority, I'd suspect that few people have been capped by today so you don't notice any degradation in service. As the pool of capped users grows, intl becomes inaccessible

I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

ok...but what if you using dobroadband 3 gig and openeweb 30 gig local? Then wont you seperate the 2 with route sentry and not use you intl cap with local at all?

That works. But with the IS 2+28 accounts local and intl is inseperable before your intl is capped.

confirm 5gb int? on 2 gb + 28 Gb openweb acc? whats the most int on this account?
