It's not been a good week for parent company Take-Two Interactive. Following the huge GTA 6 leak, 2K Games support has now announced that it too has been hacked and that emails containing malware have been sent out to users.

In a statement issued last night, 2K Games support confirmed the hack and has urged users not to open any emails or click any links they've received from the support account.

"Earlier today, we became aware that an unauthorised third party illegally accessed the credentials of one of our vendors to the help desk platform that 2K uses to provide support to our customers," 2K said. "The unauthorised party sent a communication to certain players containing a malicious link. Please do not open any emails or click on any links that you receive from the 2K Games support account."

If you have clicked one of these links, 2K recommends resetting user account passwords stored in your web browser, enabling two-factor authentication where possible, running an anti-virus scan, and checking your email account setting to see if any forwarding rules have been set.

"Please note that 2K personnel will never ask you for your password or other personal information," 2K said. "Our support portal will remain offline while we continue to address this matter."

The news follows not long after a hacker breached Rockstar Games' systems and stole over 90 GTA 6 gameplay videos from an early build of the game. Rockstar later confirmed that the leak was real and that development on the game would continue as planned.

WTF is up with all these breaches lately?
