Dear Robot Cacher,

First, thank you sincerely for joining us on this journey and for supporting Robot Cache over the past few years. We launched this platform with a mission to build something innovative for gamers and publishers alike, and while we gave it everything we had, we weren't able to attract the user base and sales traction needed to keep the store running. As a result, we've made the difficult decision to shut down the Robot Cache store.

The store will officially close in 30 days. After that point, the platform will no longer be accessible, and users will no longer be able to play games purchased through Robot Cache, even if they've previously downloaded a full copy. This is due to how our verification system is integrated into the store infrastructure, which will no longer function once we go offline. All purchasing functionality on the store has already been disabled.

As for IRON, any unexpired IRON credits — whether earned, received through promotion, or redeemed from the resale of games — will expire and be removed from your account as of the store shutdown date. For more information, please refer to our IRON Policy.

I am happy to have never purchased anything on there. Neither do I think they had a real active user base. Once hailed as a place where you could buy and sell your games, now doomed to the ashes.

The only reason I have known about them was due to some AMD partnership some years ago. I didn't like the idea when they promoted it via crypto, but at the time mining was still viable, so meh.

The people behind this weren't nobodies.
