Telkom appear to be throttling. Go to YouTube, load up a 4K video and watch your connection. Likely will fly through the 50 Mbps to the higher speeds you are used to. Anything else, throttled. You’re lucky to get 50 Mbps. I can’t get past 15-20 Mbps. On the 2tb deal, as well as prepaid sim. If I stream on YouTube my connection gives me the usual speeds. This deal is no longer viable for my usage.
 
I can't say for certain guys. But it does seem like they are throttling this deal to around 50mbps. And also at peak times I believe. This morning 06h00 I got 115mps to the openserve randburg server.

One things for sure. I always get higher speeds on my normal 40GB data contract any time of day.

mmm this is my speed now will test this evening again

I've had this for a while and have been wondering if it's being shaped. fast.com shows ~110mbps

This is the max I can get on my phone, 2 TB or a prepaid LTE sim.

They are throttling the download but not the upload.

If I open a few 4k Youtube videos this is the result:

Correct me if wrong, 2TB - shows no aggregation showing 4G and 40GB data sim - it is 4G+.

Is this a hint perhaps?

What happens when you run a speedtest on 2 devices at the same time? Normally it would slow both down. Check that and report back. Hmmm

Dual-sim phone used? Which one?
