Hi guys would it be possible to get 2x2 meg accounts on one 4meg line? I am asking because I want to use one account for torrenting and the other for streaming.

the way you must go then are 2 pc's 1 for streaming and one for torrenting

Can happen. You have some options... Cheapest would be connection.co.za x2 R99 accounts. Have your router in half bridge mode. 1 login in the router and 1 that you dial with pppoe from the same pc when doing torrenting or streaming

Can one connect 2 routers on 1 line or not ?

You can only negotiate a single ADSL connection, so only one ADSL modem. However, you could have two devices behind the ADSL modem negotiating PPPoE connections to an ISP. This could be a router, and a PC, or some other device (maybe another router). That said, it is most likely to be easiest to go with a single router serving the majority of devices on your home network, and then allow a specific torrenting PC making its own PPPoE connection to the internet, with the PPPoE connection as its default route.

All that said, please make sure that you have a firewall enabled on your torrenting PC. While NAT is not a firewall, it does protect you from inbound connections to a large extent. If your torrenting PC is e.g. running windows, you'd be exposing things like Windows Shares, etc, to the internet - not a great idea, especially since that machine will still have access to the rest of your internal network.

You can have two routers and connections on one line, but with only one router connected to the RJ45 and the other in bridge/PPPOE mode with a network cable inbetween.

I run Telkom on the one and Axxess/Afrihost on the other as it supports it.
