Indeed.

The people in Mitchell's Plain are reclaiming their neighborhood. Burned a drug dealer's house down. Ended up with the police shooting at the people. If that's what it takes to get justice [1] then so be it.

No. At the very least he should have also been given a much longer suspended sentence to follow his imprisonment.
 
What's even worse is that if he could've paid the fine he wouldn't even have gotten the 3 months...

Only if I could pick the prison and his cellmate. It'll be the longest three months of his life.

That fine is a joke.
 
I guess the other question is.... is she now his 'ex'-girlfriend, or she still clinging on to him, after what he did, and seeing what his reasoning is like :confused:

It seems to be the consensus in this country that crimes are solely attributable to those two factors.

Back on topic, I do think this is a shocking crime, and the second brutal crime regarding insecure dudes thinking their girlfriends are cheating on them to make headlines in 2 weeks. Hopefully this is not an indication of a larger problem, but rather just isolated incidents.
