One feature I was hoping to see in the address book is syncing with an LDAP address book and allowing an LDAP based address book to be written to. I have yet to see any mail client (or system-wide address book) that can do this.

I am not sure if the next gen of entourage will be able to do this but they are promising something as close to Outlook as possible in terms of functionality.
Personally I can't wait for Leopard.
not that I am unhappy with Tiger, I just like new toys.

Outlook can't do it unless it's connecting to Exhange. With any other sort of LDAP addressbook you search for anything. Which is fine, but it would be nice to see a list of what's there.
