32" Plasma for R4500!!???

Its resolution only matches that of widescreen SD. It's not even HD ready. It down converts an HD input to SD.
I'd rather suggest saving up for an extra month and add R1,000 to the budget and rather invest in a LCD HD ready (720p) TV. Far better choice IMO.

My girlfriend bought one of these 3 months ago - for the price, very cool. She had no TV and her budget was R4500.00 exactly. Does have HDMI - but she uses it for watching DSTV. For that purpose, it's perfect.

The one thing is image retention is a large problem :( I have bad image retention on my LG 42", but this is slightly worse. Not a huge worry for the price though.
