Was just wandering what the difference was between the two.

When I purchased my HSDPA card the sales people insisted I get a 64k card ( but didnt have stock). I decided to buy a 32k card just to test if it would work.

Surprise surprise it did ! Now my question to you is... What difference would a 64k card make ??

Both cards work fine in all devices.

Around a year ago, during the initial roll-out of 3G, it was found that 64K SIM cards switched better between 2G and 3G. Nowadays we don't see this anymore but still suggest you get a 64K SIM with any datacard.

I prefer (as most forumites do) to control the 2G / 3G switching myself by using two separate profiles (GPRS-Only and 3G-Only).

creating profiles

while not connected, on vodafone software, goto tools, Mobile profiles/profiles, new and create new profile with service specified. (look on 2nd screen where it says preferred service). Then whenever you and to change, just go and select profile as needed.
