I think it's a little different picking things up from the beach and removing stuff off the back of a truck.

I do not see the difference, in princeple that is. The people in both these incidents pinched stuff.

Yes but I also picked up 2 crates full of 2 liter Fanta Orange once when it fell off a truck. I wouldn't go steal it off the truck thou.

I can remember 2 incidents with SAB trucks losing their load... LOTS of people volunteered to help clean up the roads
