356kb speed upgrades?

Would be awesome , not to mention really simple since most 384 lines can reach a mb at the very least but since 384 is classified as the minimum speed for broadband they won't do any increases.

256 is classed as the minimum right now afaik.

But yeah, its really annoying. 4mbps get a 6 144kbps upgrade for free...one would have thought that they could spare 128kbps at least for the 384 guys.

I feel that the gap between these line speeds is representative of the gap that divides the rich/poor and middle-class today .
Its for this reason alone that im so pi$$ed off about how this pricing remains.

Hell i don't mind paying more for a faster speed but the difference for 512 is a joke!

I needed to vent so apologies all around, i dont want to just accept things the way they are now without a fight...:mad::mad:

If you look at it from the marketing dept's point of view, the gap isn't that big. There's 384k, 512k and 1024k, aka 1M. Sure, it can burst for 4M or 8M or 10M if you're lucky, but it's still a 1M product if you read the fine print.

yes but where will we all sign this petition?

Better idea - round up all the 384k user in your hood and go toi toi at the exchange. Day off work, dance around a blue box in the sun, awesome stuff.
