hi, i currently have a 384 line with telkom ( do 2 pachage) with 4 months before my contract expire

im thinking of upgrading to 4 meg / 9Gb

if i upgrade do i just start paying the new fees or is there a fee that i need to pay due to the 4 months in my existing contract?

You'll be paying them more, so I doubt they'd have an issue with it. Best to speak to an agent though (good luck with that BTW, but try 0800375375 as their response time to answer a call is often quicker than 10219).
 
You should call 0800 DSL DSL (0800 375 375) and select the existing customer option, enter your phone number and then select the new services option so you can apply for the upgrade.
I called corporate (0800 611 126) because my line is owned by Pam Golding Properties, so got immediate service :)

I've literally just upgraded to 4meg from 384 and I will probably never look back.
